Whom do I contact to ask questions and turn on/off services?

If I want electricity connected to a barn or accessory structure next to my home what should I do?
If you are building a new structure you may first need a zoning permit from the Town to permit you to have the structure, then a building permit may be needed from Edgecombe County as well as an inspection before we would be able to place an electric meter.
When are utility bills due and how do I make payments?
Utility bills are due by the 5th of each month unless it falls on a weekend then it will be the following business day. There is a grace period from the 5th to the 15th before bills are considered late. On the 16th a $10 late fee will be applied and on the 17th there will be a $35 delinquent fee charged and services will be disconnected.
Payments can be made online through our online bill pay portal and we accept checks, money orders, cash, and credit cards inside our office. We also have a drop box for overnight payments to ensure your account is credited properly please put your payment in an envelope with your name and address. You can also mail payments in, our mailing address is P.O. Drawer C, Pinetops, NC 27864.
